UTM provider Altitude Angel expands into the Netherlands

UK-based unmanned traffic management services provider Altitude Angel has partnered with Dutch drone enterprise solutions innovator AirHub to work on a combined advanced airspace management platform across the Netherlands and mainland Europe.
On its own, AirHub’s platform offers drone operators a workflow to plan to execute and manage missions legally and efficiently. It provides operators with the ability to check airspace advisories and regulations within a matter of seconds, fill out a flight plan with all essentials of the mission and submit it to the authorities through its U-Space connection.
But with Altitude Angel’s GuardianUTM airspace management platform added, the parties reckon the process will now be more accurate, real-time, and offer better geospatial data.
“We’re excited to announce Airhub is expanding its relationship with Altitude Angel, expanding Unified Traffic Management (UTM) capabilities internationally, and enhancing functionality for its customers,” said Paul de Haan, Altitude Angel Netherlands B.V, Managing Director.
“This integration streamlines the approval process for drone operators in UTM Ready zones (zones administered on the Altitude Angel platform), enabling a simple approvals process for both drone operators and land or airspace access managers.
“By supporting advanced services, this collaboration strengthens the growing drone industry and the wider ecosystem of new airspace users.
“This is great news for Altitude Angel, Airhub and the wider industry and we look forward to enabling enhanced services to commercial drone operators not only in Europe but beyond.”
The partnership will also allow AirHub to offer a premium service to customers which will include Altitude Angel’s Digital Approval Services.
Operators will also be able to share their flight reports with Altitude Angel’s UTM platform alongside live operational telemetry feeds through Altitude Angel’s Surveillance API – all through AirHub’s easy-to-use app or web-based operator platform.
Stephan van Vuren, Airhub, CEO added: “With this expanded partnership, we will be able to enhance our support for the markets where Altitude Angel delivers its top-tier airspace approval and deconfliction services.
“This development aligns with our goal of providing a unified workflow for drone operations in public safety, security, critical infrastructure, and other essential sectors—helping drone operators save time, ensure safety, protect data, and achieve regulatory compliance.”
