Ghanaian start-up integrates Flytbase software into its drone solutions offerings

Accra, GHANA: Ghanaian DJI enterprise dealer Dronehub Africa has announced a partnership with Silicon Valley autonomous flight management software start-up FlytBase, to enable the former’s clients to seamlessly integrate the DJI hardware and FlytBase drone autonomy software platform for operations across industries like agriculture, infrastructure, and emergency services.

In a statement, the two companies said their collaboration will deliver reliable autonomous drone solutions, ensuring compliance with regulations; safe, scalable operations and supporting BVLOS waivers; through integrating docked drone systems with enterprise workflows.

FlytBase flight safety and fleet management features can seamlessly integrate with BVLOS operations like parachutes, detect-and-avoid systems, and weather monitoring for secure, efficient drone operations.

“Partnering with FlytBase is an important step as we work to expand our ability to connect people and businesses with autonomous drone solutions,” said Nicholas Appiah, Business Development Lead at Dronehub Africa.

“FlytBaseʼs advanced software allows us to provide reliable, scalable, and cost-effective drone solutions to our clients across various industries. This collaboration helps us improve processes with greater accuracy and safety, delivering significant value to our customers.”

As drone adoption accelerates across multiple industries, the need for efficient autonomous drone solutions to manage critical assets has become essential.

Industries like energy and infrastructure rely on drones to monitor remote and challenging environments while minimizing the safety risks involved in manual inspections.

The introduction of drone-in-a-box systems addresses the growing demand for scalable remote operations, real-time data collection, and cost-effective maintenance. However, Flytbase reckons, deploying advanced docked drone solutions requires specialised expertise and strong collaboration.

“Our partnership with Dronehub Africa is a step towards making docked drone operations more accessible for the African market,” said Nitin Gupta, CEO & Founder of FlytBase.

“Dronehubʼs focus on delivering tailored enterprise solutions aligns perfectly with our goal of providing reliable and scalable automation for docked drone operations. Together, weʼre addressing critical challenges in the industry and supporting enterprises in achieving consistent and efficient results.”

The American start-up says its solution is compliant with ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, and GDPR standards, aside from ensuring top-tier data protection via network firewalls and flexible deployment options to accommodate enterprise data privacy requirements.

Based in Accra, Dronehub Africa is a commercial drone technology products and solutions provider focused on the African market.
