Today we are crushing on QP Drone Tech, custodian of the Flying Labs network in South Africa, which recently spent time with the young women in the high-density township of Alexandra, teaching them on how to fly and become familiar with drone technology.

The drone and robotics technology entity said it is grateful for the help it is getting from local and international organisations in its quest to bring modern technology to the less privileged; which the company figured will become handy in helping the underserved communities deal with disaster situations.

SA Flying Labs managing director, Queen Ndlovu appeared on a local news channel at the weekend, to speak about her organisation’s sojourn in Alexandra and other works in the offing, which include the disaster management drone event scheduled for Cape Town this October.
