America drone technology software platform provider FlytBase has entered into a partnership with Yarra Drones, an Australian drone technology company specialising in UTM delivery infrastructure and drone compliance systems.
The partnership is designed to support enterprises, government agencies, drone operators, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) looking to build compliant, scalable, and OEM-agnostic drone operations in Australia.
Yarra Drones is one of few Australian-built, CASA-approved drone safety platform providers since 2023 and was specifically selected by Airservices Australia to develop the next-generation unmanned traffic management (UTM) services delivery as a UAS Services Supplier (USS), that will power national drone operations at scale.
Its platform includes AusSORA-based operational workflows designed to support compliant enterprise drone operations across the country.
On the other hand, FlytBase is the enterprise Physical AI platform for drone autonomy. The platform enables organisations to run automated drone missions, manage fleets remotely, and scale dock-based operations across a hardware-agnostic ecosystem, with deployments spanning security, inspections, emergency response, and infrastructure monitoring.

The joint venture comes at a time when Australia is preparing to integrate broader BVLOS operations and national UTM adoption, where enterprises and drone operators are increasingly looking for solutions that combine regulatory readiness with scalable autonomous operations.
